Approximate Calendar of Activities (call to get exact dates)

  • Early May:  Brand calves and vaccinate cows at Twin Bridges

  • Mid- to late-May:  Move cows and calves from Twin Bridges to Centennial Valley

  • Once or twice a week from mid-May to late October:  Move cattle from pasture to pasture

  • Mid-July:  Separate bulls from cows

  • Mid- September:  Bring in cows and calves from pasture to corral. Vaccinate and apply organic insect repellant
  
  • Mid-October:  Wean calves, using low-stress weaning methods

  • Late October:  Ship calves to Twin Bridges

  • Late November:  Sell some calves; bring cows back to Twin Bridges

  • March and April: Cows give birth to calves
